Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q: What will our first meeting be like?
  • A: The first meeting is an intake. During this meeting, I would meet with you (and your child if relevant) and ask about your presenting problem, history of psychological services, and current symptoms. After this meeting, I will provide diagnostic impressions and treatment recommendations.

  • Q: Do you accept insurance?
  • A: No, at this time, I do not accept insurance. However, I am happy to provide invoices with billing and diagnostic codes that you can submit to your insurance company to request reimbursement. I cannot guarantee that your insurance company will reimburse you for any charges.

  • Q: How does payment work?
  • A: All payment is expected at the time of service, either via cash, check, or credit card payment.

  • Q: What is your availability like?
  • A: I offer morning, late afternoon, evening, and Saturday appointments.

  • Q: Do you do home visits?
  • A: I may consider doing therapy in the home, depending on your location and presenting problem. However, the initial intake would need to be done in the office. The fee for home-based services is higher than in-office services.
